520			_aThe Delaware Journal of Corporate Law is a student-edited publication that was established in 1975 at Widener University Delaware Law School as a medium for business-law practitioners to stay abreast of critical issues and changes within their areas of expertise. It is Widener University Delaware Law School’s original, and most established, law review publication. For the past fifty years, the Journal has provided the nation’s business law community with a reference source of well-researched and analytical discussion on issues of timely importance. Today, the Journal is one of the nation’s most prestigious legal specialty journals and continuously receives national recognition for its thought-provoking articles on corporate law. Our focus is most appropriate for scholarly publication in Delaware—the cradle of American corporate activity. Delaware boasts incorporation by the majority of Fortune 500 companies and has consistently maintained its pre-eminence on cutting-edge corporate law and governance issues. Members of the bench and corporate bar read the Journal for insightful commentary on complex corporate matters and recent decisions. Even though the Journal maintains a focus on corporate law and governance, the scope of our articles is extremely broad. We publish articles on subjects that are that fall within the scope of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section, which includes topics such as intellectual property, international business law, and environmental, energy, and natural resources law.
