| Sumario, etc. | El empeño de hacer del Centre Euro Africa una entidad plenamente inclusiva, donde las personas —todas ellas ciudadanas de pleno derecho— puedan acceder a todos los mecanismos de desarrollo humano e inserción en redes que les permitan tener una visibilidad y hacer viables sus proyectos vitales en condiciones de máxima libertad e igualdad, sin relaciones de dominación y dependencia, en un marco generador de autonomía, de reconocimiento y de valoración de todas las diferencias, era, ha sido, es “el gran reto”.<br/>En esta publicación nos proponemos recoger y mostrar momentos compartidos que deseamos que sean un reconocimiento a tantas personas que nos han acompañado: socias y socios, personas colaboradoras y un voluntariado de calidad que, en los aciertos y los desaciertos, han dado sentido a nuestro proyecto como entidad ligando los tiempos de la historia con los espacios de esa historia.<br/>Asimismo, nuestra intención es entender las ausencias, las presencias y las reconstrucciones de las personas africanas y afrodescendientes haciéndolas visibles. Porque, en efecto, poner palabras a una realidad, hablar de ella, permite objetivar, darse cuenta de su valor e importancia como colectivo.<br/>No es fácil reconocer los caminos mientras caminamos. Sin embargo, es importante saber de dónde partimos y entender los motivos del camino. El itinerario de diez años desde la creación formal del Centre Euro Africa empezó en julio de 2010, y el proyecto fue plenamente operativo a partir de 2011-2021: un recorrido lleno de vivencias, de encuentros, también de algunos desencuentros, que, sin duda alguna, ha valido la pena.<br/>Continuar aglutinando esfuerzos para mostrar nuestra manera de ser y nuestra cultura como una aportación a la comunidad es la prioridad que nos ha mantenido activos y organizados. |

| Sumario, etc. | The effort to make the Centre Euro Africa a fully inclusive organization—one where all people, as full citizens, can access every means of human development and integration into networks that allow them visibility and the ability to pursue their life projects in conditions of maximum freedom and equality, free from relationships of domination and dependence, within a framework that fosters autonomy, recognition, and appreciation of all differences—was, has been, and remains “the great challenge.”<br/><br/>In this publication, we aim to gather and highlight shared moments as a tribute to all those who have accompanied us: members, collaborators, and dedicated volunteers who, through both successes and mistakes, have given meaning to our project as an organization—linking the times of history with the spaces that history occupies.<br/><br/>Likewise, our goal is to acknowledge the absences, presences, and reconstructions of African and Afro-descendant people, making them visible. Because indeed, putting words to a reality—speaking of it—allows us to give it shape, to recognize its value and importance as a collective.<br/><br/>It is not easy to recognize the path while we are walking it. Yet it is important to know where we began and to understand the reasons for our journey. The ten-year trajectory since the formal creation of the Centre Euro Africa began in July 2010, with the project becoming fully operational from 2011 to 2021—a journey full of experiences, encounters, and, inevitably, some disagreements, but one that has unquestionably been worthwhile.<br/><br/>Continuing to bring together efforts to express who we are and to share our culture as a contribution to the broader community remains the priority that has kept us active and united. |
