RESPONSIBLE USE OF AI – STUDENT GUIDE
Any use of AI that undermines your learning process is considered irresponsible.
Programme regulations recognise the use of AI but warn against misuse, especially of generative tools.
A student charter visually explains appropriate and inappropriate uses of AI.
Professors may refer to this charter in courses and materials to raise awareness.
TBS Education supports the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies.
Generative AI tools are allowed by default, unless otherwise restricted.
Professors may prohibit AI use depending on the activity or objective.
They must explain the AI usage policy at the start of the course or task.
Clarify allowed AI uses with your professor at the beginning of the course.
Understand whether AI is permitted for each assignment or exam.
Display the AI usage charter if required.
Always respect academic integrity – misuse can affect your reputation and grades.
Include a reflection section if you use AI in written work, describing how and what you used.
If your work seems suspicious (too perfect, no mistakes, fake sources), it may be reviewed.
Professors may use Compilatio (Magister Plus) to detect irregularities – it indicates probability, not proof.
If AI use was forbidden and you used it anyway (even for spelling), it can be considered fraud.
You may be asked to explain your process and justify your work.
If misuse is confirmed, penalties may apply. Repeat cases are escalated to the programme office.
Reminder: Failing to cite AI-generated content is considered academic fraud under French education law.
